I would have thought there would not be much difference between one Badger shaving brush to another, but I have to say this one gives a far better lather than the very expensive one I also own. Bought it with the view to keeping it in my travel wash bag but find I am using it all the time. Can't go without mentioning the smell which seams to be generated by the glue being used, but having contacted Sanguine on the matter, they are attempting to address the problem. It has got less intense, but only after a lot of washing and USE! The bristles are so soft and smooth on the face and being a smaller head of bristles than the expensive one I have, it is easier to use with my solid sandalwood shaving soap.

Bought this product as I didn't want to spend £50 on a badger brush in the stores in London. It is well worth the money and feels just as good as good as my other badger brush which costs considerably more than this. As with all badger brushes there is an odour for a few weeks, but after a few weeks this goes away. Very little bristle loss

I don't get on with electric razors and found this replacement for my previous, well worn brush to be excellent with no residual animal smell that some reviewers have noted with other brushes.
