Pack of 12 exceptionally soft and pleasant to the touch three layer absorbent bamboo breast pads. The breast pads are made of 3 layers, a super soft and absorbent bamboo layer, an inner absorbent microfiber layer and a breathable waterproof PUL layer (waterproof under light pressure). Place these reusable breast pads inside your bras to get a discreet help in protecting against leaks in pregnancy or during breastfeeding. For heavy leaking, to prevent moisture seeping through, complement the waterproof bamboo breast pads with non-waterproof bamboo breast pads. Bamboo has a luxurious feel, is slimmer, softer and more absorbent than cotton, it is naturally anti-bacterial, thermal regulating and doesn't hold odours. Machine wash at normal temperatures. Suggested washing temperature for this product is 40 degrees. Tumble dry on low setting and do not expose to high temperature. Do not iron or use fabric softeners. Do not bleach and avoid any other whitening agents. Always be sure to rinse well to avoid detergent or soap residues. We recommend that you wash your breast pads at least once before first use. This will increase their absorbency and remove any residues that may be left from production.

Eco-Friendly and Cost Effective Breast Pads, 29 Dec. 2013

I'm trying to be more eco-friendly and these washable breast pads are a great step in going more green. I use washable nappies and wipes for my little one, which led me to discovering these washable breast pads. I wish I had come across/thought of these sooner as I could have saved about £80.00 that I have spent on disposable breast pads. These pads are very soft and discreet, I do not find they bunch up or show through my clothing so am very pleased. They keep my dry and fresh and have washed up really well. I change them morning and evening and that works fine for me, but I am not feeding as often now that my daughter is nearly 8 months old. You may need to change them more often in the earlier weeks and months.I bought one pack of 12, which is working fine for me at this stage, however I will probably buy another pack of 12, ready for subsequent babies and feeding so that I have enough for any leaks in the early days. Fabulous product - have recommended these to. All my NCT and new mum friends and they all love these; none of us are using anything else!Unlike disposable breast pads:- you always have some at home - no freaking out about leaks and having to go to Boots on a mission- environmentally friendly- no sticking to nipples; really soft fabric- soaks up a lot!Only thing is that you can see the outline of the pad under T shirts if you have a seamless bra (ie v soft fabric, yoga-type bra).

It is difficult with breast pads as you can't try them out and return. As other reviewers have stated, these are big and don't sit comfortably in the bra. I am an e cup and these looked like I had stuffed some random material in my bra. Yes they are pretty absorbent but my recommendation is to go to asda and buy their own brand. Last week I purchased a pack of three pairs for £3, they fit comfortably in my bra, they are shaped better than these and are just as absorbent. And they come with a storage/laundry bag which you don't get with these.
