This product is amazing. It is so simple, but worth the price because it is just so much better than conventional baby baths. We used it with our daughter for about a year and are looking forward to using it when the second one arrives in a few months. There are some reviews that said it was difficult to use with a newborn. Our daughter had pretty good neck strength from birth, so we didn't find that to be as much of an issue, but I would advise to be extra cautious and to plan on using two people to bathe your newborn in it. The product is designed for single person use, but the piece of mind of having two people there (one to hold the baby, the other to wash) is worth it. Also, think about how the two of you are going to hold/wash your newborn in the tub BEFORE you put him or her in the water. I bought this in pink for my twin girls after it was recommended to me by a friend. I am very keen on buying items which save me time and space, a must when you have twins! Plus it was likely I'd end up with a Caesarian and was conscious that I'd need to be able to bathe my twins comfortably without bending over the bath. The tub is quick to fill unlike a conventional bath, the water stays warmer for longer and so does baby as she is submerged to her shoulders, it's very portable even when filled to the water level indicated on the tub and they seem to really enjoy being in there. The bottom has rubber on it to prevent slips. I prefer to site the tub on our wooden kitchen chair as you need to be able to reach over and in it easily and I find the table too high (I'm 5'8''), I have also used the floor. I've taken some gorgeous photos of my girls in it including some of their feet pressed up against the side - cute! It does take a bit of getting used to as feels awkward to begin with and...
