When we had our first child we would eat our dinner on trays in the lounge while she played/slept on a blanket on the floor. Fast forward 5 years and baby number 2 joined the family which now included a dog. We tend to eat our evening meal together at the table so we wanted something that could allow Baby to be with us and off the floor (otherwise she would be at the mercy of a very licky dog). We already had highchairs so didn't want to splash out on one of the new highchairs that can be used from birth (all in the region of £300) and then I found this Beaba up and down rocker on the internet. We used it in the top position most of the time and it was the perfect height to 'sit' with us at the dinner table. We could also use it for daytime naps and even used it in the most upright position when we started weaning.
