Basically, we have relied on this thermometer every day for a year and it's been useful and reliable.It scans the temperature every 10s, so you have to pause for 15-20s to be sure of the current temperature.It's not very buoyant, and "floats" very low in the water until it sinks. Easily lost in bubblebath.The range of comfortable/safe temperatures is printed right on the display, 19 for rooms, 35-38 for bath water so you don't have to remember.Battery lasted about 6 months, but is replaceable-- you have to unscrew the central part from the outer leaves/petals to do that, but then you need to do that fairly regularly anyway to clean off the mould and grime that accumulates between the two parts.After nearly a year now, the temperature reading is unreliable so we're replacing it.Condensation appeared inside the display within a few months but hasn't really been a problem.

I think this was really worth the money. Looks good with its muted colours and is accurate. It would have got 5 stars but it came with battery activated so I don't know how long the battery will last.

Accurate but the two parts are a breeding ground for black mould.
