Being new to growing a beard I had no idea these products existed. Three weeks in and after beginning to itch I looked online and discovered a whole new world. I popped to Boots and picked up a few bits and pieces, then a friend recommended Percy Noblemans. These products have been a real revelation.

I used the Percy Nobleman beard oil for a few days and after falling in love with it ordered the beard wash and this beard balm.

The beard balm really is the icing on the cake of the Percy Nobleman products collection. The wash is great, leaves you with a clean and soft beard, the oil, works in well, and is also great on the skin, softens the beard and conditions, then once washed and oiled a scoop of balm takes it to another level. I seriously love the smell, can't put my finger on what it is, musky, woody but then a slight hint of citrus, it hits the spot perfectly.

The tin is smaller than I thought it would be, but I think the contents will go a long way.

Great, but don't expect miracles, 27 Aug. 2015

Smells very wood/charcoal-ish. I loved it, and (although she didn't like it originally) it has grown on my gf to the point she's now disappointed if I don't wear it. It's a great texture and can provide a bit of hold. It does make your hair softer, but don't expect a miracle. Maybe a 10-20% difference.I tend to apply it after a shower. Now my beard's longer, I can't just rub it in with my fingertips. I tend to put on a few clumps, then use a bit of hot water on my hands to spread it through my beard. Then comb (with hot water on the comb) just to make sure it's well-spread and there are no lumps I've missed. Will be buying again

Love this. It acts as much as a light gel as it does a conditioning balm, thus helping keep my beard in place as well as smooth throughout the day. I have fairly sensitive skin and the balm doesn't bother it at all (I have problems with some other heavily fragranced beard products).I tend to use the balm in conjunction with a little beard oil, which seems to work well (a little oil combed through the beard first, followed by a little balm, applied with the hand only). The balm also helps slightly darken my beard (a bonus as I've very blonde facial hair).Definitely one of the better beard products that I've used.
