I can't believe the difference that the Silkworm Cocoons have made to my skin. After reading an article in a national newspaper about silkworm cocoons I thought I would give it a go. I also decided that I would try them for a month before I either gave up or carried on using them. I have to be honest and say that my skin did initially react to them and for the first two weeks I kept breaking out in spots which at the age of 55 was a complaint I thought I had finished with. It wasn't lots of spots but enough to annoy me. I have skin with fairly large pores which have been the bane of my life since I was old enough to realise what a pore was, and they were worse on my nose, cheeks and chin area. Anyone with large open pores knows that foundation sinks in and can quite often make them look worse than they are. (But I still wouldn't leave the house without it on), I have always envied women who wear their foundation with pride knowing that their skin is beautiful anyway. So now...

I noticed a difference with these really quickly. Even after cleansing well and using a muslin cloth there was obvious debris on the cocoon. Skin feels lovely and soft after using. I moinsturise on top but omit toner. I used them daily religiously for the first couple of weeks and then less often. The main effect has been that my skin looks more refined, smoother and finer pores. An added benefit has been that the downy hairs on my face have all but disappeared presumably because of the exfoliating properties. I use these mainly on the T zone as I have oily but mature skin and gently sweep eyes, cheeks and neck. I am ordering some more and I can't seem me changing from using these. I have been very impressed and they are extremely low in price.
