Good concept, but not worth the money - baby gets too hot inside it!, 11 Aug. 2013

I love the concept, of nursing without exposing yourself to the world! And I like the pattern of this particular cover. Not quite as garish as some of the others I've seen. But it does get very hot inside the cover, even in November time, I remember nursing in a pub using this cover, and my 2 month old baby got very sweaty, and he didn't like being inside it, and constantly tried to take the cover off him, and so I got quite hot and flustered as well as it was a constant battle to keep him (and my boobs) inside!

I took it abroad on holiday with me, but never used it, as it was just too hot. I ended up just getting a sarong, and using that as a cover instead, as it was far lighter, and so less sweaty and hot, and if you doubled the sarong up, it covers just as well as this bebe au lait cover does. So for this reason, I don't think it's worth the money (as I think it's quite expensive for what it is). Just use your sarong! Or a large muslin. I certainly wouldn't buy it again 2nd...

Excellent for discreet nursing, 17 July 2011
I bought this for nursing my second child as knew I would need to feed much more in public this time around. I don't use it all the time but it is perfect if I am out and would have felt uncomfortable nursing without it. The looped top means you can see when you are latching the baby on and can see whether they are feeding without getting them out from under the cover. Well worth the money and a really stylish design.

pretty cover up for breast feeding in public., 23 July 2015

This came recommended as I was too scared to try breast feeding in public. At £27 it's expensive for what it is and at first I thought maybe it was a waste of money....but I have Now used it a few times and now I wouldn't be without it,it's always under the pram as I refuse to have my social life impacted as I've chosen to breast feed! I do

Struggle though to get her latched on with the 'Bebe Au Lait' already on as I can't see her properly but maybe that's just me!? Also I used it in a pub garden recently and as gust of wind blew and of course it lifted from the side so be warned ladies.....tuck it under your arm if breast feeding in the wind!!!

It's a pretty design though and with the wired too u can peak down and see your baby but no one else can (apart from if you're sitting down and someone is standing or walks past you....as the Italian waiter saw the other day when I was using it at a restaurant table!)

It how's towelling in the corners for any...
