Being a first-time mother and breatsfeeder, I have found this cover to be very helpful. During the first few months in particular, I struggled to feel discreet with other, seemingly simpler methods such as lifting your top or throwing a shawl over the shoulder. I also found that I did not fit in maternity tops because of my bust size. I had used a cover by a different make and found it to be too fidgety and I couldn't see what I was doing. However, I have found the Bebe au Lait to be much more manageable. The neck is wide and stiff enough to see my baby easily while feeding, and the cover overall is a good size. The material also feels good quality, so it'a pleasure to take out and put on in public. I got the black eyelet one, as I felt it would blend in more rather than stand out.

These are great as well for keeping some distractions at bay for your feeding baby when there's a lot going on around. Also a handy little cover for sun shade or as a light blanket when out.

I love this product! I have always been shy about my body and was worried about breastfeeding my baby and exposing any part of my body. Having this means I can breastfeed wherever and whenever I want without drawing too much attention to myself. That is why I picked the black cover rather than one of the patterned ones. I would definitely recommend this- well worth the money!

i can now breast feed when out and about in comfort, 16 Dec. 2010
I resisted this purchase initially as I felt it was a lot of money for 'an apron'. However after countless times of feeling too uncomfortable in cafes I decided I would give it a try. I am really please with it and would recommend it to any mother. I got the black one and it really works! good luck
