I'm so pleased with this baby carrier. I had a baby bjorn carrier with my first child, but ended up hardly using it as it hurt my back and neck after her being in it for 5 or 10 mins. However, this one is so much more comfortable. I've used this lots with our second child. She has severe reflux (among other things) and was not happy in the pram or car seat as she needed to be upright. I was hesitant in spending a lot of money on another baby carrier, but this has been a lifesaver. I put her in it when we're in the house and I need to get jobs done as I can't physically hold her all of the time. After walking around for 5 or 10 mins, she normally drops off to sleep and is so much more content. I originally thought about getting the Bjørn and looked at it in John Lewis. It really looks nice BUT then I read many reviews on this site, Mumsnet and others saying that it is great, comfortable and well made but after only about five minutes the parent's shoulders and neck hurt. I just took my two and a half week old daughter, who now weighs 7.5 lbs, for a 55 minute walk and I can honestly tell you that, when i got home, I felt not even a tiny twinge of pain or discomfort in my neck and shoulders. In fact, as I was arriving home, I couldn't believe that, after 55 minutes, it was almost as if there was no weight bearing upon my shoulder area at all !!! My baby was extremely comfortable the whole time and barely fussed a couple of times. The rest of the time, she was almost asleep.
