I bought this almost as soon as I found out I was expecting and it's been fantastic. I drive a lot with work, both my own car and the company van. With it's quick release buckle it's easy to swap to another vehicle in only a minute. The same applies if you switch from being the driver to a passenger.

The strap for fitting around the seat is adjustable, so will fit a lot of different seats. In my hatchback, if I sit in the back I have to choose the smaller seat... basically where the back seat folds down it does so in two sections, one as wide as one seat and one as wide as one seat plus the middle section. The strap isn't long enough to go around the larger section.

Finally, I'm quite slim and normally a size 10, so my thighs are not overly large. This means that the centre section of the belt that pulls the seatbelt down, only just pulls it down enough. In an ideal world it would be great if this was adjustable so it could be pulled down further or let out...

This is a great invention that has kept me feeling comfortable and safe in pregnancy. It works really well at keeping the seatbelt off the bump, and I've used it successfully in a range of vehicles - from a sports car to a pick-up truck.Just a tip - if you're wearing a dress or skirt (particularly with no tights) and you have people in the car you don't know very well, I recommend covering your lap with a coat or cardigan, as you'll need to hitch your skirt up to fasten the strap between your legs and you might expose more than you feel comfortable with!

Comfortable travel, 9 Aug. 2012

I bought this when my wife was pregnant and she loved it. Car travel was becoming increasingly uncomfortable and we were both worried about what could happen in an accident. She found it really comfortable and wouldn't go in the car without it. We did find that the strap that goes around the seat would come loose - I don't know if we weren't looping it around the buckle properly or what, but it wasn't a huge issue.
