Good lamp but you must bypass the old CFL ballast., 14 Sept. 2014
Good CFL replacement but you must bypass the ballast for it to work which could need an electrician if you are not confident cutting cables. This is not stated in any instructions supplied with the lamp so if you do not bypass the ballast it just flickers on for a second and then goes off.

These LEDs are as bright as the 16watt 2d CFL bulbs they replace and have a nice warm white colour. You do have to remove the ballast which is not difficult but there are no instructions on how to do this with the LED.
