This product is made of solid wood and will last a life time. Can be passed down from child to child, generation to generation. It is a really vintage nostalgic toy from years gone by and makes a real change from today's plastic and technological toys. It is educational in the sense that it develops the child to walk as it encourages the child to push it along and the faster you go the louder and harder the duck's feet flap and make a noise. This toy encourages exercise and movement - teaching movement and action rather than sitting in front of a computer screen - children just sitting about watching dvds. It came very quickly and was well packaged. Highly recommended.

Love the flappy feet!, 7 Sept. 2012

I really bought this toy because I liked the look of it myself, thinking it might be slightly too old for my one year old grandson who isn't quite walking yet, but he absolutely loved it and so did we. There's something kind of comical about the duck's flappy feet which makes us adults enjoy pushing this around for him until he can toddle along with it himself. In the meantime, he loves to try and rip the feet off or get the whole red knob on the end of the handle in his mouth, so we're not leaving him unsupervised with it until he's older. Anyway, it's fun all round and I like playing with it. Looks great, is sturdy and fun.
