Safety latches for cabinets, 12 Oct. 2015

These arrived neatly packaged along side one another in a firm resealable bag. These are well made and are necessary if you either have small kids yourself or if you get visitors with small children. The natural thing children do is investigate there surroundings and like to have a peep at what is in the cupboards, this is both unsafe as they could eat something that is dangerous for them or they could hurt there little fingers by getting them stuck in the doors or even soundthing could fall on top of them and hurt them. These safety locks put your mind at ease and you know that this is going to be safe for them to be able to venture into rooms that they would not otherwise be allowed to. They are hygenic and easy to wipe clean. Also easy to open as an adult but difficult for a small child.

The size of these each are :- 19.5cm in length and 3.5cm in width, maximum adjustable length is 10.5cm.

Child proof latches that are easily opened by adults but keep the children out, 13 Oct. 2015

I had been looking for child safety locks for some low level cupboards to prevent them being opened when my cousin's young children come to visit and I was offered the chance to try these ones by the manufacturer.

My worry is that I keep bleach/dishwasher tablets and disinfectants in the cupboard underneath the kitchen sink. Obviously this cupboard poses a real worry as toddlers like to explore and the items in this cupboard would pose a real risk to toddlers if ingested.

The latches arrived in a resealable pack and were simplicity itself to apply - thanks to the double sided tape on the reverse. The locks are easily opened by an adult but stood the test of staying closed when the under five's attempted to open them. I've already ordered another pack and will be fitting these on all low level cupboards - I've already protected the cupboard I keep the dog food granules in! The latches look fine in the kitchen and are easily cleaned with a wipe. I don't know...

Excellent product, 9 Feb. 2016

These are by far the best safety latches I have purchased so far. The reason I went for this brand is because we had previously purchased some sliding door locks from them and they are brilliant. These are exactly what I was expecting sturdy, simple to use and stick on securely. I thought I may have to use extra sticking tape but so far these have held on without any extra help. When you first look at them they seems more complicated to put on then what they are but just do a simple online you tube check and you will see how easy they are to fix on but don't worry they are more complicated for little ones to work out. I have purchased more and can not recommend to friends high enough. They seem expensive but don't let that put you off as they work and you'll be wasting your money buying cheaper ones that do not last.
