But these are well thought out with the clasp at the back, if you watch the video, I hope this is helpful to you before purchasing these.The stickers are solid, and not easily peeled off [believe me, I tried] and fact that these have extendable handles are ideal for any drawers. These come in a pack of 6, enough to do a whole set of drawers or cupboards.

They are really easy to fit following the well written instructions with diagrams. You measure how long you need the strap to be to go around the corner, lock it in place, then secure to the furniture by using the 2 x 3M stickers, that are already attached. You need to make sure that the part that you press to release is on the most stable part of the furniture and not the front of the movable drawer or cupboard door. Then, when you want to open the drawer, you press the secure part and it springs open. If you follow the instructions and leave them to stick for 24 hours before using, they are really strong.

I don't know where the complaints in the other reviews have come from, but I totally disagree, the straps are strong and sturdy, I can't see how they would break at all. I've actually tried to break one in half and it was impossible!!

Very secure and well made, 13 April 2016

This set of 6 child safety locks was received promptly and was well packaged together with installation instructions. Simple to install and use, each side is fitted with 3M tape which holds it securely in place on a cupboard door or side, and to operate you simply move the little slider to release. The 3M tape is a bit tricky to get off the surface when it comes time to remove these however, but can be accomplished by gently scrubbing with warm soapy water or lighter fluid. Not a problem as such as you would not want these to come off too easily.

The straps are adjustable and very strong and sturdy, there is not much chance of a small child opening anything that is properly secured with these. Based on the quality of these items and the current selling price, I would recommend them.
