Useful spoon for feeding your baby away from home, 25 Oct. 2010

This is a really useful spoon for feeding your baby away from home if you want to give your baby home prepared food. Once filled with food it is convenient to drop in a bag and doesn't require you to have to take separate spoons or bowls. The biggest advantage of this product is that you can use it with one hand. You can sit your baby on your lap and support him/her with one hand while feeding with the other - this can be very helpful as lots of places don't have suitable highchairs that provide enough support for babies during the early weaning stages and it can be tricky to feed with a bowl in one hand, spoon in the other whilst trying to support a baby and stop their hands knocking things over! Nice but not exceptional, 17 Jun. 2011
I used this spoon to feed my 6 month old daughter. The spoon is plastic and a bit hard for baby's gums. I also find it a bit too deep, so the food goes to the bottom of the spoon rather than the front and when my daughter blows into it a lot of her food ends up in her nose. I guess for older children that would not be a problem, but keep in mind it holds a maximum of 88 ml pure. I tried it with home made pear pure (more liquid than the one you buy) and it was fine.

Large feeding spoon, 28 July 2011
We are yet to use this item as my little boy has just started weaning. It's larger than I expected so we probably wont use it for another month or so and only when we are out and about / travelling.
