Irrevocably masculine, dangerously authoritative and captivatingly opulent. Hugo Boss Bottled Oud stands as a monument to the imperious man in control of his world. A flash of warmth carried in spice blended with a rich score of woods. Fresh citruses and apple provide a crisp opening. At its core, prized saffron combines with piquant cloves, a balancing splash of deep labdanum and bitter-sweet cinnamon. Finally a base steeped in namesake Oud wood and complimented by creamy sandalwood and cypriol oil.

If you're in the mood for oud, then Hugo Boss Bottled Oud is good.
The best oud product out there is Boss Damask Oud but it's a lot pricier than this one. The second best oud product imho is the one by Acqua di Parma, which is also an expensive one. Boss's Bottled Oud doesn't quite have the depth or intensity of the above-mentioned, but is still very decent. It opens with what can only be described as fire - this is always a good sign as it means that the thing is going to settle down well and change as it goes along. The vibe here isn't as dry as Damask Oud - it doesn't cloy but there is a touch of sweetness there.
Bottle - standard Boss. The design has a touch of the 19th century Apotheke about it, which is quite smart.
Longevity - outstanding. This is on a par with 2012 vintage Terre d'Hermes in that respect.
Mod factor - yes, it's there. I can see the Cappucino Kid scooshing this on before a Marvin Gaye gig.
Cyberpunk factor -...
