Shiny skin? Not any more! THE solution for shiny ski, 17 April 2014

I cannot believe I didn't know about this product before!

I have a skin that is oily in parts and usually by mid morning regardless of the moisturiser I use, (yes including those targeting oily skin and oil free) I have a shine on my face. Over summer it only gets worse. My skin basically looks oily. Its not overly attractive. I can't really wear make up as my skin tends to break out over most foundations and even some moisturisers.

What this product does is that in a light weight formula it sits on top of your moisturiser and matts your skin. ALL DAY. Honestly I didn't think it would work but at the end of the day, just as at the start, my skin looks fresh but matted with no oily shine to it.

The product is designed to go under make up to make it easier and more consistent to apply but I find it great just over top of my daily moisturiser as a finishing product

As I say I do tend to break out with quite a few moisturiser brands and...

I didn't like this product very much at all. I found instead of leaving my skin soft and smooth, it was sticky.After I put the primer on and applied my foundation (which is Smashbox), I found the foundation & primer combination flaked & gave my skin a really strange texture.I personally won't be buying this again.(For reference, my skin is mostly dry except for my T zone which is slightly oily.) If your skin is a different type it may work better?!

This, for me, is simply the best product I have EVER found for stopping the dreaded shine. I can have an oil slick face in as little as an hour after applying make up...even if I use products for oily skin. This keeps the shine away for at least 4 or 5 hours, and even then I get only a slight sheen, and this is easily sorted with a shine sheet and a dab of powder. I initially worried that I might start getting dry patches because I was producing so little oil, but that's not the case at all. I just have normal looking skin.I apply this to to clean skin, wait a couple of mins, and then apply my bareMinerals foundation. Perfect skin is the result . I could not be happier
