Brought these and at first thought they were rubbish, however after reading another review, I took the lady's advice and applied my mascara first then curled them, and the end result was big perfect eyelashes that lasted all day,

If you have thin, wispy eyelashes (and not many of them on each eye), I imagine it could work. Mine are very long, very dense and each hair is quite thick, so I wasn't surprised when nothing happened after I sat there for a full minute with the curler to my eye.I was prepared for this so I passed the curler over to my sister. Her lashes are what I'd consider perfectly normal. Not too long, not too thick, regular density. Same thing - the simple truth is the heat just isn't strong enough to make noticeable difference. Avoid - this one is cheap for a reason (though I'm still not paying 25 quid for the Hitachi).

It worked very well for about a week but the broke. I have tried different batteries and I still can't get it to come on. It worked really well the time I used it for, but I guess you get what you pay for.
