Smells rubbish, 12 Jan. 2015

I loved the sound of this product as I had been looking for ages for something to freshen up the bin area. No matter how often I empy the rubbish, there is always a lingering smell. I followed the instructions to stick the freshener to the bin and that worked fine, there was no adhesive problem. However I found the smell disgusting. This is a really nice product idea but there are so many amazing smells out there - flowers, aromatherapy oils - would it have been that difficult to create an amazing pleasant smell? So disappointed I bought this.

Just brilliant, 29 Jun. 2018

This gives a lovely refreshing smell to my bin, although my bin isn’t a brabantia bin I would think this works with all bins. My bin is under my sink attached to the back of the unit door and every time I open the door the pine smell wafts around. You need to buy the fresheners with the stick on holder if you haven’t bought them before so you can place the disk, after removing the seal, inside the holder. Leave the holder in place and change the disc when it’s empty. Oh and they last a long time.

Can't close the holder!, 13 May 2016

Like many other reviewers, I found this very difficult to open, but eventually managed to do so. I then stuck it to my bin lid and waited for 24 hours, as suggested. This morning I put the air freshener sachet into the holder and then found that it seems impossible to close. I've been trying ever since, with no luck yet. I've watched the little Brabantia video and it looks extremely easy - just one click and it's closed. I'm left wondering what I'm doing wrong....
