looks good but - even at 60+ I'm the type who after 2 days not shaving you would not really notice so I didn't shave for a couple of days thinking I would test it out as soon as it arrived, well test over it took a long time to shave me clean going back and back again over the same areas and it still left the occasional hairs that I had to scrape off with my blade.Comfortable enough shave but the shaver is only as good as my old travel battery powered one, ok for a quick tidy up but not anything like as good as a razor

Although I preferred its 1000 series predecessor, this shaver produces a close shave. My only complaints are that it is not as easy as the 1000 series to operate the trimmer and the plug is very bulky. The latter will work well in most German shaving sockets, which are usually recessed, but invite the plug to fall out in the UK standard.

Read a review about connections falling out.I now understand!!!Wall socket end of flex has small diameter pins which wobble about in socket, sometimes falling out. Rather unsatisfactoryRazor end of flex has tighter connection, but can become disconnected too.I find razor itself very good - worth *****
