More preventative than corrective. Average quality., 26 Nov. 2014

We bought this pillow for our 4 month old son as he has started to develop a flat head at the back from prolonged pressure on the back of his skull. After reading good reviews we decided to purchase the MIMOS pillow. We used the pillow for approximately 2 months but our sons head did not correct itself or become more rounded. In the end we had to pay out for a special helmet for our son to correct the flatness and he is currently using the helmet now.

I feel that this pillow is more a preventative measure rather than a cure for an already misshapen skull. Maybe using it from birth would prevent the flattening but I do not believe that the pillow has a great effect on an already round head.

My biggest issue with the pillow though, was the quality. For such an exprnsive item it was flimsy, had shrunk after one wash (washed as guided) and had developed a hole in the mesh lining. We have £5 pillows from asda that don't shrink in the wash so wouldn't expect it from something so...

Good spare pillow cover, 10 April 2013

Needed this to have a spare for my granddaughters Mimos pillow which we had to try to re-align her little head which had gone slightly awry. Only lasts as long as the pillow and that only lasts until baby can wriggle off of it at about 4 months. I would recommend giving it a try along with trying 'tummy time' as an alternative to a helmet. We found it did help.

Expensive but necessary, 5 Mar. 2013

Bought this cover for the Mimos pillow as it needs a cover (would prefer if it came with the pillow). Material is breathable and washes well.
