Tried this at 8 weeks post partum as I had a bad case of abdominal separation and a umbilical hernia. On the advice of my Physio I wore these 24/7 for 6 weeks. My belly went from sticking out approx 7 inches side on to around 1 and my hernia is nearly fixed. The compression definitely works although the top and bottom of the girdle curl up/ down and it needs adjusted a few times a day. Hand wash only and needs drip dryed so you will need at least 2.

Gives good support! I have split stomach muscles and this offers very good support. The adjustable outer straps allow fine tuning support, to change the intensity as well as which specific points for support for example mid rift, underbelly. I'm tall so would be glad of another inch or so in width but it still good. It's not so noticeable under clothes either, as long as loose around actual belt.

I was recommended to buy this by my physio after my second pregnancy to correct separation of my tummy muscles. It's really helped and is not too uncomfortable to wear. I'm a size 10-12 and it fits well. Only irritation is when the Velcro rubs my tummy and it can be a faff when going to the toilet.
