Bright Bots trainer pants, 10 April 2013

Bought these pants for my 2 year old daughter whom I am potty training. I wanted something that would protect from accidents when going out (to places where it mattered), but that she wouldn't have the absorbency of or think of as a pull up nappy. I would say that they are o.k for a little added confidence if your little one is nearly fully trained, but they do not protect if your child wets herself completely even just once! They are useful when your child is asking for the potty just a little bit late and only wetting slightly - for this they are thicker than ordinary pants thus preventing the trousers/tights from getting wet too.

I thought I would love these training pants but they don't quite work as well as I thought they would.They look great being made of a nice quality fabric but the waterproof part is very plasticky and creaks when scrunched up. The pants cannot be tumble dried eitehr.The pants also did not contain as much wee as I expected. I think they are best for children who know when they have started to wee and are able to stop the flow.Overall, I reckon ordinary pants are the best option.
