Great toy, shame about the design fault!, 7 July 2014

It is a shame I can only give this toy 3 stars as I love it, and so do my 2 boys (12 months and nearly 4 years). The reason I can only give it 3 stars is due to a major design fault. The mechanism that allows the green dragon's head to be pushed, and that triggers the opening of the drawbridge and other sounds, stops working after about 10 pushes. We ordered a second castle after the first stopped working on my son's 1st birthday. The same thing happened with the second castle, so we took it apart to investigate. The mechanism will continue to stick due to a design fault, a third castle will not solve the problem. Of course by now both boys love the toy and my eldest has declared, "Mummy, I don't need the green dragon to work, I can just open the drawbridge myself!" Well, that is true, and I am willing to keep hold of one of the castles (it has been so nice having two!) as in all other respects it is a very well designed toy.
