A fun toy but your inability to replace the battery can be a problem, 15 Sept. 2014

This is a toy where you can hear the giggles of the child in your mind before they receive it. There is a small button on the lower hemisphere of the cute birdlike, (other designs are available), sphere that turns the sound on and off and there is a roller on the lower hemisphere that when spun will trigger the noises that are easy to hear. (Other designs are available.) I counted at least seven different noises and they are also triggered when the sphere is shaken. Small hands may not be able to hold it tight enough to shake it hard enough for the sound, but it can be held in the hands and rolled on the floor to activate the sound. The roller spins very easily, so even very young hands will be able to make it move.

While the spherical toy is not completely stable when rolled and released, it is stable enough to roll long enough to cause the sound to be triggered. It will not take long before the child will learn how to roll it greater distances. It is made of hard plastic so if...

Unfortunately I didn't see that this was for one item only, I thought I was ordering a pack of 6! I got the green one and it was tennis ball size, quite cute, it plays 5 sounds for 2 to 4 seconds approx., which sound fine. It's pretty good, but I think it's a little over priced for one item, but I guess it depends on your budget, though if you wanted all 6 it would be expensive regardless. 14 month old seems to think it's ok, especially if you roll it over his body. It's a decent toy, neither fab nor lame, I don't regret buying it overall.

Poor quality, 22 Sept. 2015

Product itself is very poor, 2 stars only given as for some reason my 7month old loves it and giggles as he chases it across the floor. The noises stopped working within 24hrs an will now only work occasionally when he bangs it on the floor, noises are also very 'tinny' overall a poor quality item
