Comfy for baby easy for parents - just click and go !, 30 May 2016

Absolutely loved this carrycot when my little girl was small. She was comfortable in there as the mattress is nice and thick and it was very lightweight and really easy for me to click on and off the pram base.. I looked at a number of travel systems before we purchased the Britax and none of them had seats or carrycots that were as easy to clip on and remove from the wheels as this one. This carrycot also folds flat when the hood comes down making transportation in the car easier so if I knew I would be out for the day I could use this instead of her car seat which is not so good for her back.

I recently had the opportunity to test the Cool Berry colour Carrycot (and the Affinity pushchair and Cool Berry colour pack) at a recent baby event that I attended and whilst the product pictures do show the Cool Berry colour quite well, I think they show it as being a slightly darker purple than it actually is in person. The colour is gorgeous and I can say that if I was to purchase any colour set now that I would probably opt for the Cool Berry one if I knew I was having another little girl but I think the colour maybe would not be a colour I'd choose if I was having another little boy as it does have a slightly pinkish colour to it in person. I actually have a Britax B-Dual, Britax Affinity Cosy Toes (for my B-Dual as the cosy toes fits most Britax pushchairs), Britax Baby Safe Plus SHR II, Britax Soft Carry Cot and Britax Evolva car seat all in the Chili Pepper colour and so I can also say what a gorgeous colour the Chili Pepper option is too and if I was to purchase another...

Compact yet robust, snug and comfortable add-on for the affinity system, 13 July 2015

This carrycot is an optional add-on to the Britax Affinity travel system offering a lay-flat option for newborns and infants. This option makes the Affinity usable from birth for much longer periods than using the car seat and offers a traditional pram look. The Blue sky is a pleasant cobalt blue that makes a bold statement.

I had the pleasure of testing the Affinity system out at a recent Briatx event and was very impressed at the thoughtful design of the system to be aware of offering comfort to both baby and parent with a compact footprint without compromising on safety nor sound durability.

I think this is a pretty essential addition to the system if purchasing from birth as we changed our original travel system for one that had a carrycot option because my daughter wasn't comfortable in the continuous car seat 'brace position' and as she was a bit preemie I was concerned about her spine development, equally the soft carrycot didn't offer the security and...
