Britax BOB, the BIG BOY ~ the 3WD buggy for the tracks and muddy stuff.
Big wheels, proper brakes, suspension and a host of goodies built in. This is a serious piece of kit and you need space and a big booted vehicle and a reason to buy it.
Read the details on the Amazon page, they are comprehensive and accurate, so I'm not rewriting them. I had the wheels off in seconds (put them in a plastic bag if they are very muddy) and examined the brakes ~ quality drum brakes operated with a bicycle brake lever system ~ excellent. The front wheel has a quick release lever and a tracking adjustment to make sure that it goes straight ahead when you are running with it. RUNNING WITH IT ! ! ! ! Yes yes yes. This is designed for runners who want the extra joy of walking the baby out whilst jogging or running. It has the brakes, the suspension, the baby comfort, the safety and the looks to keep up runners/joggers.

I am awaiting delivery of this item now following spending a day with the Britax team testing their products. I was fortunate to spend time with their expert staff being demonstrated and testing many of the items that they market. I hope to post a video of the "BOB' tackling our drive, which I have to say it sufficiently steep and uneven to render the use of a traditional pushchair as impossible; we live up a dirt track about 100 metres long.
So what makes it special? I can summarise it by saying that the BOB can go where no other push chair can take you to. We live in the countryside and are a fairly hardy bunch, our house is situated up a track and whilst I am a little bit older than many of the users of this item, we are now at the stage of being doting Uncles/Aunts, who often have infants visit and stay with us. Their parents can leave a buggy if they wish, but to us it is pretty pointless when we take them out with our border collie dog, as the terrain we...

There are plenty of things labelled as 'sporty'. A haircut, for instance. Who would have thought something like that would ever be described as 'sporty'? Maybe the word itself has lost its meaning, what with it being attached to everyday objects and occurrences. One item you wouldn't usually associate with that particular word is a pushchair. In the instance of Britax's BOB Revolution Pro, it's entirely justified.
Available in the ubiquitous black, as well as red or wilderness (green), it's easy to see why this chair is a premium product and at the top of the company's range. The invention (possibly by a man named Bob) is actually based on a bicycle and you can see the similarities. It's not only a pushchair; it's both a running and skating chair. With valve wheels, which are detachable at the flick of a lever, you can use this in either city (fixed) or sport (moveable) mode by using a switch on the front wheel. As with a bike, this has a hand brake on the handle for...
