Performed very well in crash, 22 May 2013

I had the very recent misfortune to be involved in a crash on the M1.I was travelling at 60mph with my wife and one-year-old baby, who was in the Britax Duo Plus Isofix car seat. Our car was hit from behind by a lorry (foreign!), spun, and skidded along the side barrier. The car was a write-off, but fortunately the three of us were largely unharmed. My wife and I have minor whiplash but, best of all, our baby suffered no injuries at all :) The car seat performed excellently, and appeared intact and absolutely fine after the accident.I've already placed an order for the exact same car seat (you can't use a car seat once it's been in an accident, even if it looks fine). I just need a car for it to go in...

Excellent Isofix car seat as to be expected from Britax. Once the anchorage points are in, it's so easy to get in and out of the car hassle free (once you know what you're doing!) I've also used it in other cars without isofix which also works well and is easy to install. I love the design and I have to admit I have just washed the car seat cover for the first time. I was a little nervous about having to remove everything in terms of putting it all back together again, but I managed to do this really easily and without even having to look at the manual. Now my son's car seat looks new again and smells fresh! It's a very comfortable seat and reasonably priced; if you're considering Isofix I urge you to get a Britax. I have tried other makes and once again I have returned to good old Britax (the co-founders of Isofix which I wonder if that has anything to do with it...?)

The seat looks great, fabric is high quality and looks very supportive. Easy to set up and install, takes only a few minutes. My twelve month old seems very happy sitting in it and enjoys seeing the world from this new perspective. Much easier to see child and recline is easily managed from the front. I would highly recommend this product.
