Good desing but poor finishings and horrible service, 18 May 2012

Unfortunately I became an expert on this product as I received it 3 times in 2 weeks time (I had to return), and by now I can assemble it with my eyes closed, so I hope my review will be helpful.

This is definitely one of the most stylish and expensive high chairs on the market, so when you buy such kind of product you would normally expect the same level of finishing, packing and customer service. This highchair is very poorly finished: you can see uneven painting everywhere, which does not affect the look of the high chair when you look from a distance, but this is not what you would expect from such an expensive product. All the plastic parts are also poorly cut and painted and I would not complain if this came with a highchair for £30.

One of the reviewers (I do not see her review here any more) said that her highchair arrived broken, no wonder why, the same happened to me. The product is quite fragile but despite it, it is not very well packed. The most strange...

why pay nearly £300 for a high chair!!, 25 Nov. 2012

It took me a month to brave spending this on a highchair. It's silly money I can ill afford but I took the plunge and here's why. I have a small house with very little storage space, with 3 meals a day and the odd munch for baby when I'm trying to cook I figured whatever I purchased was not going to be stored away much so i wanted it to look pleasing as well as be practical. This is baby no 3 with a 10 year gap so I've been through many a chair in the past. The design of the chair is Brilliant, A1, top notch there's no doubt about that. I move it all over the place and not a scratch on the floor. The rotation is easy . The tray is genius and low/high action is a dream. I love the chair and I'm very glad I got it. The chair gives my baby the best posture for eating and I know he loves it. The negative is the big bulb of base and if i had the choice I would like a spider base (like the bloom) but hey ho, I'd rather have this chair than the bloom. Would give zero stars if I could!I was delighted with this highchair on first purchase but cannot tell you how disappointed I am now!My main reason for purchase was the fact it didn't need the straps! Well my son now climbs out of the highchair with amazing ease! He can be out in a second!I have contacted brother max since this is one of the main selling features in this product to be given incredibly poor customer service! They quite clearly don't care! And advise now to use the harness, if I'd knew my son would master an escape (which brother max claim he has done!) I would have bought a much cheaper highchair which would have done the job!Don't waste your money on a company that doesn't care for your child's safety or sells products with false promised!
