Bump bands are my absolute must have item! At the moment I am still wearing my normal work trousers, but undone with a bump band covering up the evidence. I started growing out of my trousers about week 14, and 6 weeks later I still haven't had to move into maternity trousers, as am able to keep my regular clothes going with bump bands. I tried cheaper ones first (from Mothercare), but would not recommend them - they are much thinner and don't do half as good a job.I am a size 12 normally, and they are plenty big enough and are growing with me. As well as covering open buttons, they fill the gap nicely between my top and trousers, and make everything feel much more comfortable. They are not too tight, and are long enough to cover you perfectly as required.They'll be great after the baby too, to cover any jelly belly! Really can't recommend them enough - and this twin pack is great value.

Good Purchase, 23 Mar. 2009

I purchased these 7 months into my pregnancy and I wish I got them sooner. For me (now in my 9 month) they have been handy to wear under the tops and trousers as the pregnancy clothes have got a little tight so i dont flash a belly. Early on they would have been handy as my normal clothes got too small. I also think they would be handy underneath tops when i breastfeed to hide my jelly belly. Twinpack also very good value for money. I purchased size 8-12 (being a size 10 before pregnancy) and I am currently massive (even size 16 trousers dont fit me) but the size of the band has been fine. Recommended.

Waste of money - buy maternity jeans instead, 4 May 2012

I had read so many great things about these premium quality bump bands, but now I have the two pack, I find them a complete waste of money. They don't hold your trousers up. I spent the whole day that I wore them with my skinny jeans, pulling up my jeans and being concerned that someone would notice my zip was undone. I think an elastic band to expand the button may have been more use. It may have been my petite frame (size 8), perhaps they work better if you are the top end of the size bracket, I don't know. You'll need 1 or 2 pairs of maternity jeans at some point anyway, and they expand with you, so I'd say just buy them early on and get the most wear out of them. I found Just Maternity Jeans excelllent for finding a good pair of jeans. I wore mine from 9 weeks pregnant on the days I was bloated or knew I would be sitting down alot and my normal jeans (which have some stretch in them, as they are skinny jeans) on my less bloated days.
