Chose this file for treating extremely painful ingrowing toe nails which i have had for years despite trying to file the nail with a normal file. I have only used the file once (2 weeks ago) and am now pain free. the design of the product makes it easy to handle and reach awkward edges. The design enables you to effectively file with out having to use any pressure. Very useful tool.

Handy little tool - just don't tell your chiropodist you have one, 16 Jun. 2014

Does the job. I suffer from a lot of dry skin build up which can cause pressure pain round my big toes if not attended to and a normal manicure implement is not really successful. This does the job and gets down behind the edge of the nail to clear out the build-up. Not as robust as the one my chiropodist uses but it does the job. Word of advice - don't tell your chiropodist you use one (they don't like it as they seem to think you could do more harm than good).
