Poor quality- don't buy, 3 Nov. 2015
Stainless steel??? The instruments became rusty after just 2 days of use!!! Extremely angry and annoyed, bought the set because of all the positive reviews I read, just wonder if the people actually used the instruments?

I've always used the equipment provided at my college, this blew me away. Brilliantly sharp, nice and well weighted, sits comfortably in hand. Would recommend to any student doing dissections. One piece of advice: don't leave soaking in bleach too long, nothing wrong with equipment but blades will go black, although if you do blades are SOO cheap they are easy to replace.

My medical student daughter is impressed with the quality. The students tend to use one scalpel at a time for dissection so the need to replace blades will be reduced. As a parent, the product seemed great value and ideal. Good to know we were spot on with this purchase.
