i switched to henna around three years ago for a myriad of reasons, none of which matter here cept for one thing. i have long thick black (asian/indian) hair that was dry, frizzy, curly and wavy etc. henna over the months did a superb job of taming my hair, but it also had a couple of negative effects on a curly like me, not only did i find my curls had started to drop out but i also found my hair becoming super dry and flyaway and static-laden.
this is where a product like this comes in. cassia obovata is a conditioner for dry hair. the only thing it has in common with henna is that both henna and cassia are green in powder form.
