This could be brilliant. The foam is perfect for absorbing little tumbles and nice for protecting knees, elbows and chins. The colours are pleasant and the pieces are interesting fur little hands with contrast number and letter inserts. The only problem is, there are only enough squares for an irregular rectangle shape rather than a square, so you can have the configuration 5x7 which makes a long thin(ish) mat. Just adding 2 more squares would have meant that you could configure the mat better and would have a better size for playing.

Gorgeous brightly coloured tiles. Nice and soft. Looks really well in our playroom. My little boy and girl love them and educational too...bonus!
