It is quite flimsy for my small two year old I have to admit, she would sit on it though and is very happy with it, we changed it to a toilet seat with steps for her instead.

My 2 year old isn't a fan of being potty trained- prefers the comfort of his nappies. BUT this potty chair seams to be more comfy when he does decide to sit on it rather that the normal pottys for sure! The lid has broken off cos its rather flimsy but for the price you can't complain.
