The white plastic around the nail clipper actually makes it very difficult to clip my baby's nails...but then again maybe I'm not using it correctly. I bought another baby nail clipper without all that plastic encasing and it works, so I don't see the point of it.

the clippers are certainly safe and easy to use. They are much sturdier than the last set I had which only lasted 3 uses.
