This product is brilliant and has changed my life. I had thinning hair around my central parting since my twenties. It could be disguised to some extent by hairstyle and hairspray. It got worse in my fifties and I started thinking about using a wig. Then I discovered this product. It is perfect for my thinning (now dyed) dark shoulder-length hair. I couldn't believe the difference it made - it makes my hair look much thicker again. I use it in conjunction with the Toppik hair fibres.

Yes, it is sticky to apply - I find it better to blow-dry my hair first and apply to almost dry hair, but the result is amazing. I now only have to wash my hair once a week, whereas before I had to wash and blow-dry every day. I also only have to dye it once every 6 weeks, rather than once every 3 weeks, as it darkens the roots automatically. I can go out in windy weather without a hat and not have to worry about looking bald! It does stain the pillow-case slightly (it washes out easily), but...

Not what I consider light brown, 7 May 2015
I've used couvre for many years now. However, the colour I ordered of light brown, is more of a ginger/brown. It does not apply, nor look well, with light brown hair. Therefore, I can't use it. As its opened it can't be returned. Disappointed in the product.

"I've used this stuff before to hide a small bald patch on the side of my head caused by alopecia. It did the trick and hid the patch brilliantly. Gives you the confidence back that alopecia robs from you. Now that I have alopecia back (in a different place this time) I needed more of the masking lotion. Easy to apply and it is waterproof & washes out easily enough when you shampoo. Great stuff."
