This works fantastically well. So why only one star? The price. nearly £30 for a plastic flange and a bit of sticky plastic sheet!

Like one of the other reviewers i bought this for my child when he was in a hip spica and it worked a treat relieving his itches and offering a wonderful cooling effect-but nearly £30!

The product arrived quickly and fitted onto our Henry hoover a treat and is simplicity itself to use-but nearly £30!.

This is one of those very simple, really effective ideas that makes us all wish we'd thought of it-but nearly £30!

This item can be a real boon for those unfortunate enough to be stuck in cast, especially during summer months and I would recommend to all such folks with just one proviso-be warned it cost nearly £30!

If you stick a pipe hoover onto your cast and make a seal with your hands it does the same job thus saving yourself nearly £30! although to be fair if you position the CastCooler just right you can do it hands free...

I fractured my scaphoid and have had a short arm cast put on for 6 Weeks, I'm a keen cyclist and decided to keep on cycling on a turbo trainer to keep my fitness up over this period. My only concern was the amount of sweat build up in my cast. After some research I found this product, I was a little apprehensive as the price isnt throw away but needed a solution so was prepared to give this a try.I have been using the CastCooler for about 20mins after i ride, my cast gets pretty dampt after my rides, the CastCooler drys the arm out completeley in this time. While im sitting down looking at my stats my arm is drying, by the time im done my cast feels dry again.It has also helped to keep off the smell that mouldy sweat can cause by bringing out most of the moisture.Overall very pleased so thanks.

This is great but doesn't work as well with plaster cast...... That said you could still shove it against the fingers thumb and create enough suction to make a difference. I think it's well worth the money..... You couldn't really 'make it yourself' that easily...!
