Peach kernel oil (Prunus persica)

The oil is obtained from the peach kernel. It is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, including linoleic and oleic acids which help to keep the skin hydrated and that consequently results in the essential flexibility of the skin. The oil is also a rich source of antioxidants which counteract skin-aging. It cleans skin pores – it makes the skin softer and gentler. It has beneficial effects which enable it to heal inflamed skin, eczema or psoriasis.It contains many minerals and vitamins, especially vitamin E. The oil has a very similar consistency to sweet almond and is recommended as a protection from wind or the sun, also great for dry and aging skin.
