Chewable Necklace (Chewy Skool Kid) (Pink) is available in Soothers

The first of its kind, this stretchy Chewable Necklace will become a favorite among chews! It is softer than other sensory chews but just as strong and resilient. Designed by a School based Occupational Therapist in the abstract shape of a kiddo, it is a fun and kid-friendly way to provide an alternative option to older kids that find the harder pendants difficult to manage. The softness and texture of the chew will provide wonderful sensory/oral motor stimulation and is a way to introduce a chewable necklace to younger children. It can also be used as a Teething Necklace for the softer gums of babies. Great for children on the Autism Spectrum or those with Special Needs. One side has raised textured bumps while the other side has indented wavy lines that stimulate the mouth differently depending upon which side the child prefers to use. It is made from medical grade silicon that is Lead Free, Phthalate Free, BPA & PVC Free and Latex Free. It measures approximately 3" x 2" x 3/8" and comes with an adjustable safety lanyard. Current colors available are Army Green, Pink and Light Blue These are not for aggressive chewers.

First "chewy" my son will continually use! Hides under his shirt at school. Completely safe and doesn't hurt his jaw!, 18 Feb. 2016

Chewy Skool Kid is the first sensory chewy product that my son will use! My son is diagnosed with Autism along with sensory processing disorder. He has an OT at school that gave him chewy sticks to help prevent him from chewing his shirt and we purchased one for home. He uses it, but it starts to hurt his jaw, I believe from the thickness. We have looked at other "chewy necklaces", but mostly he finds the necklaces "girly". This one is flat and each side has a different texture to it, ripple or bumpy. The chewy pendant is soft and smooth against his gums and he likes to brush the bumpy side back and forth along his gums. The pendant is also stretchy, so he can pull against his teeth if he is craving that sensation. The pendant is thin and I've noticed my son using it for a longer duration than the chewy sticks. It does not seem to hurt his jaw.

Poor and rubbish do not waste your money, 17 Mar. 2014
Absolute rubbish was broken within the hour to thin and flimsy my 3 year old had bitten straight through it, wouldn't recommend to anyone with an autistic child

I thinks its over priced but its exactly what it says it is.its worked wonders to stop my daughter chewing her school jumper and biting her nails so is worth the money.and its still in tacked with much biting
