Good idea, although my daughter did end up biting the bristles off which we had to keep scooping out off her mouth. But she was relentless to give this up as it was the only teether she liked.

My son is one year old and teething. He really likes this toothbrush. While he doesn't use it as a toothbrush yet, he does use or a lot to soothe his gums when they are sore.
