This item was described as a large chewy tube, I ordered it for my 20 year old son who has severe learning difficulties which includes him putting everything in his mouth for sensory reasons, I was not very happy when this product arrived, it states that it is a large chewy tube when in fact it is small enough for my son to get it all in his mouth and probably choke on it if he was left unattended. Very disappointed.

Chewy tubes - excellent for autistic chewers, 3 Feb. 2012
My son is autistic and still loves to "mouth" anything to hand. Was given a chewy tube by his occupational therapist but this eventually got lost. As he no longer accesses OT looked online for an alternative - found the exact same one on Amazon which was great. Even though it was shipped over from the USA it arrived before the due date. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR AUTISTIC KIDS WHO CHEW.

My daughter has autism and chews on everything; cushions, clothes, bedding, socks in particular. Her chewytube makes her constant mouthing and chewing slightly more acceptable and she does seem to enjoy it. Highly recommended.
