If you are going to buy this, best also invest in a sleepyhead or coccoonababy. It's just too big for a newborn and the mattress is too firm. I bought this months before our baby girl was due but she never settled in it, whether attached to out bed or not. Unfortunately, I only got a sleepyhead when she was 12 weeks so I wonder if we missed a window of opportunity to get her sleeping a bit more independently. 19 weeks old and she's still sharing our bed and I use the next 2 me for safety in case she should roll! Wish we had just got a Moses basket, but I thought this would have bed nicer for all of us. Basically, this bed alone might not be enough for your little one.

I brought this to use for my second baby as my first hated his Moses basket and ended up sleeping in his bouncer or in our bed so I thought this might be better as it still allowes the closeness without actually co-sleeping in the bed.So far so good, nice and spacious, helpful while breastfeeding or if you've had a c section as you don't have to lift baby over the side. Bed can tilt, also can put the side up if that's what you wish.Only flaw would be the matress- it's quite firm! Overall very good 👌

Fast delivery and great product.A few reviews said it was light enough to travel with around 8kg but it was a little over 10kg which made it awkward to take in our plane allowance.
