This is a warning to all people who think they are going to get a Chicco product: it is not the case, this is a counterfeit!When we received the item and had a closer look, we noticed that the Italian writings didn't make any sense (we are Italian so we can say that for sure), they have been clearly translated with an automatic translator.Also, the H in the logo is different from the H in the original logo (check out the company website).We didn't open the package and sent it back, so we cannot comment on the quality of the objects included.

I bought this set mainly for the clippers, however they are not sharp enough, instead of cutting they tend to rip the tip of the nail off... I cut my babe's nails while sleeping and event then it took ages as I had to make several attempts at cutting each nail due to clippers being totally blunt. Also after using it for a month the clippers went rusty..not safe at all. Not recommended.

I bought this before my 2 year old daughter was born. This is the only nail clipper she lets me use on her. It is very small and needs a couple of tries even on a baby finger. The fact i like about this is that it's not very sharp and cuts the nail just enough for me to pull the cut nail off without a struggle. I feel this is very safe to use even on a new born. My mom bought another nail clipper and I managed to injure my then 6 month old daughter. That event scared me enough to buy one more of this, just to ensure I will have a backup. I have only used the nail clipper and not the scissors. filing works but try filing a toddler's nail. i don't use that much. I took off one star because the pink outer casing on the nail clipper is so loose that if slipped off after a few uses. Now i use it without the pink case and just as a simple silver nail clippers. It makes no difference because it's still easy to hold but I did like the pink color.
