The cover is removable and is machine washable (30 degrees).

My little boy loves giraffes, so from the moment he saw this he loved it. It's easy to fill but after a couple of weeks of filling it every night I have noticed that the lining near the bottle neck is starting to fray as it is very tight to get this part of the bottle back inside the cover. Apart from that, I'm happy.
