Nice and chunky although not very happy with the safety quick release., 12 May 2017

I brought this for my 4 year old nephew who is autistic, when he get's anxious he likes to chew on his jacket or top's and also uses his dummy still as a comforter, so the idea of this was to give him something to chew or and play with if he get's tired or anxious. Overall I am pleased with it, the size is nice and chunky so it will fit into his mouth but it's way to big for him to swallow or put it all into his mouth, the colour is vivid and it has a nice smooth texture if someone like's tactile touch. The one big downside I found for which I removed two stars was the quick release tab on the lanyard, it was not quick release at all, I put it around my neck and had to pull so hard it actually marked the back of my neck, I know the idea is that if a child was to 'hook' themselves via it it would detach however we really had to put some weight onto it before the clasp would release. We are going to try to loosen the clasp a little but it was not as quick release as we would have liked...

Very quick delivery and well packaged.However if your child does like to chew things excessively, this isn't the idea toy.My sons had it one day and has chewed the bottom off already.He's 5 and struggles to keep things out of his mouth so I thought this would be ideal, good price, nice size but the rubber comes off in chunks!Could be a health hazard and if consumed a big deal.Definitely would be careful.

Brilliant item and useful, 21 Aug. 2017

This item is brilliant my son absolutely loves it and he has since getting it stopped licking and chewing everything he gets his hands on. It was particularly helpful during an unexpected hospital visit on Friday to help keep him calm and stop him trying to chew on things around him. It has also helped stop him eating constantly just to get the oral stimulation. I would highly recommend for anyone who needs the constant oral stimulation think it is actually one of my best buys for a while as it's so plain and simple and good for my 9yr old son.
