Worth every penny and more!, 19 Dec. 2014

Paid £12.99 for this item and worth every penny and more! I had read some bad reviews about this being hard to put together and not the best quality so was a little concerned but I LOVE it! It came promptly and well packaged, however it was not assembled (as expected!) It does take two people to assemble it more easily as is a little fiddly. We started off with a hand screwdriver and that was very hard, (we're talking 1 screw every 10 minutes!) but we soon switched to an electric screwdriver and assembled it in under half an hour! Infact we quite enjoyed it! The pre-drilled holes are quite rough, but they need to be for the thread on the screws to bite in!!

As for the finished product we used it with our week old baby and it was amazing! Our moses basket was second hand and I had no idea on the brand - it just looked like a standard moses basket to me.. but the stand has adjustable ends when you assemble it so that you can choose the right size (out of 3) for your moses...

This is a self assembly base that arrives flat-packed in a stout card box measuring 4cm deep, 62cm long by 21cm wide. You’ll need a Phillips head screwdriver [not a posidrive] to put it together, although one person can do this, two is better. The instructions are clear, as are the diagrams so assembly is quite easy and provided you’ve read them properly, will take about ½ to ¾ of an hour.

I was a bit concerned buy some of the negative reviews but needn’t have worried. All the parts were supplied, the pre-drilled holes all lined up perfectly and the whole thing was square and solid once complete. The trickiest part was putting on the top bars which have the support ribbon on –so make sure the staples are facing down or the bars will not fit and will pull the whole thing out of square. One other point is the rocker locking discs need to be tightened sufficiently to stop them simply dropping and stopping the rocking motion.

Very nice product!, 20 Aug. 2015

I don't normally review things I buy on Amazon, but I am so pleased with this I've decided to make an exception. I bought it for my Uppababy Vista bassinet and it fits beautifully. Very easy to put together, only needed a screwdriver and took about 15 minutes.
