I had a teeny tiny baby so needed a better insert for my baby's Graco carseat. I chose this as it supported my baby's whole body so she didn't roll around. It is perfect, if I could give it more stars I would. The headrest (back and sides) is made of some kind of memory foam and is lovely and snuggly, the strap covers also are very deeply padded. the material on the back isn't foamy or padded, but that is a good thing as I know I am not compromising my child's safety as she is still safely in the car seat, just with additional padding around the head and sides. I love this product, my daughter is just over 3 months now and we still use it, I think we will get another month out of it and then we will continue using the strap covers. I wont be in a rush to get rid of it as I think even after I stop using it in the car seat I can then begin to use it in her pram when I decide to take her out of her carry cot. Worth every penny.

To be honest I never used this for its purpose in a car seat. It was however brilliant in the pram/carrycot, baby swing, bouncing chair and now in the high chair!

It's over all a good extra support for newborns. Keeps baby's head in place and comfortable with the soft padding. The belt covers could be a bit bigger though, they just about fit around the belts and feel somewhat clumsy.
