Deep enough for toppers too!, 15 Oct. 2014

This is the first protector that has fitted over my mattress INCLUDING the memory foam topper, all others have been too shallow.The packaging includes a fabric sample allowing you to feel for yourself how soft the fabric is, it is a nice weight and more durable than cheaper brands I have tried. It is always good to have protection against dust mites and the waterproofing is not just useful for children, if you or your other half have "Tropical Moments" this is a good way to prevent sweat stains on your expensive mattress.I found that it fits very well and makes no crunching sounds when you are lying in bed, the care instructions are sewn in and very easy to understand. If you have a holiday home or live in a rented property that is already furnished you really ought to think about getting one.I recommend this and believe it is worth the price being asked. Next time I go to a holiday rental mine shall be coming with me!

This mattress protector is pleasantly soft to the touch. The bets thing about it in my opinion is that it doesn't rustle when you turn over. I've had many different mattress protectors over the years and far too many of them are just too noisy but this one is reassuringly quiet.It fits nicely and stays in place well. I haven't washed it yet so I can't comment on the way it washes. My only complaint - and it is a complaint I make about almost any mattress protector is that the sides are too flimsy and it is very easy to put your fingers through them when you're putting it on the bed. I did try pouring some water on it before I then dried it out and put it on the bed and it certainly does seem to live up to its claims of being waterproof as no water came through to the other side.This seems to be a good quality mattress protector at a reasonable price - only time will tell whether it lasts and washes well.

Pleased with this, 15 Oct. 2014

Having just bought a very expensive bed, I wanted a new mattress protector to go with it, not because we have any bladder issues, but over time, sweat / fluids and spillages happen.The first protector I bought was good, but the sides were simply not deep enough for the super deep mattress and do sometimes slip off.This one fits much better, it feels nice and doesn't look/feel like a waterproof protector. The only downside is that the sides are a very fine mesh - a bit like tights so I imagine will easily tear - extra care is needed when putting it on, but I am pleased with it so far
